What is cloud computing?

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a utility over a network.

Cloud computing provides computation, software applications, data access, data management and storage resources without requiring cloud users to know the location and other details of the computing infrastructure.

End users access cloud based applications through a web browser or a light weight desktop or mobile app while the business software and data are stored on servers at a remote location.

Cloud application providers strive to give the same or better service and performance than if the software programs were installed locally on end-user computers.

Following are the list of 15 cloud computing companies.

NewsMaker provides students an easy, affordable, and fun platform to practice writing, speaking, and presentation skills.

NewsMaker is neither grade-level specific nor content-area specific. It is a tool to help students improve their communication skills while mastering content in any subject area.

With NewsMaker, students take on the role of news anchor and producer, creating their own story in 3 easy steps: Write! Read! Publish!

Write: In the role of 'reporter', the student plans and writes a news story in NewsMaker.

Read: The computer monitor then serves as a teleprompter, and the 'news anchor' reads the story aloud for practice, then makes a recording. Built-in fun video technologies makes it easy to overlay impressive visual effects. Additional effects can be downloaded from the left panel of this
website.

Publish: In this final step, the student becomes the 'news producer' and publishes the recorded clip as a single video file to be shared with classmates, teachers, family or friends.

Little bit about GIF file format

The Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) is a bitmap image format that was introduced to computer world by CompuServe in 1987 and has since come into widespread usage on the World Wide Web due to its wide support and portability.

The format supports up to 8 bits per pixel thus allowing a single image to reference a palette of up to 256 distinct colors. The colors are chosen from the 24-bit RGB color space. It also supports animations and allows a separate palette of 256 colors for each frame. The color limitation makes the GIF format unsuitable for reproducing color photographs and other images available with continuous color, but it is well-suited for simpler images such as graphics or logos with solid areas of color.

GIF images are compressed using the Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW) lossless data compression technique to reduce the file size without degrading the visual quality. This compression technique was patented in 1985. Controversy over the licensing agreement between the patent holder, Unisys, and CompuServe in 1994 spurred the development of the Portable Network Graphics (PNG) standard; since then all the relevant patents have expired.

Aminated GIF

A series of static GIF image that can be animated by combining several images into a single GIF file as each described by its own GCE (Graphic Control Extension), preceded by a header whose content by default applies to all the frames. After the header the data is stream-oriented instead of being at fixed indices, so the location of the start of a GCE depends on the length of preceding GCE(s).

This is a method I found helps to remove virus files through Nero disc burning software.

Here’s the complete story,

Few days ago, one of my friends told that he felt that his computer is infected by a virus because it accesses to internet and download, upload data with no reason but it doesn’t show any virus by the anti virus program.

I told him that use another anti virus program and scan the computer again.

He had done it but the result was same.

A computer virus also a file stored in somewhere of the hard disk and if possible to find manually, simply possible to remove it manually too. But the problem is it’s very difficult to find a specific file among thousands of files and bad truth is over 90% of viruses come as hidden files which don’t support for “Show Hidden Files and Folders” command also.

Soon, I got this idea,

When it tries to add files into Nero for burning, it shows all files and folders available inside the destination what we have chosen.

I opened Nero Start Smart, clicked on “Make Data DVD” and selected “Local Disk(C :)” under “Add data to your disc” window.

There, I found four unknown files but I don’t know that what is the suspect and what is not?

So, I searched those file names on Google and found the bug.

It doesn’t need to explain the next step, I deleted the file though Nero (Nero allows to delete hidden files though own window – highlight and press “Delete” button) and the problem was solved.

P.S, this may be critical method if you had deleted a file which is essential for proper windows running. So, you must check (Google search) each unknown file before getting any action against it.
