1.Check that is it available enough space in HD.
2.Remove all cookies, history and temporary files. My Computer> C> Documents and Settings> [USER NAME]> Local Settings
3.Scan whole computer for viruses, malware, and spyware.
4.Defragment volumes of hard disks. Go to start> all programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmenter
5.Uninstall all the unwanted programs. Click Start > Run and type “appwiz.cpl" at the prompt, and continue.

7.Remove memory sucking screen servers and animated desktop backgrounds.

9.Clean up and fix the system registry through registry cleaner program.
10.If you’re a frequent internet user, Remove browser related application data (Warning: This action will erase all saved data (Ex, Passwords) available in browser). My Computer> C> Documents and Settings> [USER NAME]> Local Settings> Application Data
11.Install Microsoft security essentials (For Windows computers).
